I’m passionate about teaching elementary students and believe in a multicultural, communicative approach to language learning. I focus on helping students develop other languages while acquiring English, using language transitions to support their growth. My goal is to create an inclusive learning environment where English is learned through an understanding of the language acquisition process.

About Me:

Education & Training

From the Republic of Congo, a bilingual teacher since 2008, moved to Maine in 2014. She earned her B.A in Business Management, Social and Behavioral Science(Cum Laude) and an MS.Ed in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. She enjoys being with elementary students. She is a Multicultural teacher who believes in a communicative language and creates language transitions to allow students to develop other languages while acquiring the English language, and that English can best be taught when there is a knowledge language acquisition process.

She also enjoys reading aloud in different languages, cooking and dancing with her husband and boys.
